ACTIONS/ENDORSEMENTS
During the regular course of business, at a monthly Chapter meeting, the body of members may be charged with voting on, or tabling, a specific notable action, endorsement, or contribution.

Any tabling or voting on these matters will be posted as soon as practicably possible on this page. Regular course of business voting, such as meeting minutes and financial statement votes will not be included here. To view those actions, please refer to the meeting minutes.

Voting and general business takes place in accordance with Valley Chapter bylaws, PORAC bylaws, and guidance from Robert's Rules of Parliamentary Procedure.

  • Motion made to recommend Chapter endorsement of Juan Alanis for State Assembly District 22 to PORAC was made and tabled at the June 12, 2025, Chapter meeting. The endorsement recommendation was approved.
  • Motion made to recommend Chapter endorsement of Maggy Krell for State Assembly District 06 to PORAC was made and tabled at the June 12, 2025, Chapter meeting. The endorsement recommendation was approved.

Other Actions:
The August 14, 2025, meeting was a joint Region and Chapter meeting. The following nominations were made for Region offices and will be sent out to the Region membership for voting soon.

Chapter Elections:
  • At the September 11, 2025, Chapter meeting, nominations will open for the Chapter Vice President and Chapter Treasurer seats. Nominations will remain open until just before the elections, which will take place at the October 09, 2025, meeting. Newly elected officers will officially take their seats at the January 2026, Chapter meeting.
Per Chapter bylaws, all endorsement requests shall be tabled until the next scheduled Chapter meeting, at which time the endorsement may be voted on.
